10 students and 2 faculty from Hiroshima University participated in the INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CONFERENCE 2013 held at Universitas Katolik Parahyangan in Indonesia.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CONFERENCE 2013 at Universitas Katolik Parahyangan, Bandung, Indonesia was held from January 17 to 24, 2013 and 10 students those who were selected and 2 faculty members from Hiroshima University participated in the coference.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CONFERENCE 2013 were divided into two themes which are Global Terrorism “Altering Security and Preventing Terror” and Water and Environmental Sustainability “Think Outside the Sink”. 6 students participated in the former and 4 students participated in the latter from Hiroshima University.
The students could participated in the conference well prepared because they gained certain level of academic understanding by receiving lectures from the professors and performing reading tasks before going to Indonesia. The conference was fruitful for them and has become satisfying experience for their student lives and researches from now on.
After coming back to Japan, the students submitted their reports and presented about the event in front of concerned personnel. Please see below for more information.
